Within the Şam Group, which values humanity and the environment in every sector it invests in and adopts sustainability as a principle, we embarked on our journey with the CSR PLASTIC brand, aiming to be a pioneer and effective in the recycling sector. Why recycling? Plastic, being one of the most extensively used materials in every field today, takes between 400 to 1,000 years to decompose in nature when not recycled, depending on the type of waste.

Considering both the harm it causes to nature and the cost of producing products from original raw materials, we believe that recycling is a necessity for everyone. Following the completion of our facility investment and licensing efforts, as of 2021, we have been conducting non-hazardous waste collection and recycling activities at our facility, which is established on a 30,000 m² site in Erenler/Sakarya.

Spread over a total area of 30,391 m², it includes administrative areas, sorting, extrusion, purification, raw material storage, laboratory, and rest areas. CSR PLASTIC enhances its location by being close to ports in the cities of Kocaeli, Sakarya, Bursa, and Istanbul. Furthermore, in terms of factory positioning, it is 17 KM away from the Northern Marmara Motorway.
